Being an entrepreneur is like being a roller coaster enthusiast. You have to enjoy the thrill of there being ups and downs and understand the path is not a linear one. At some point, almost every entrepreneur will run into a Negative Nancy or person filled with fear. Here are some things that every entrepreneur will hear throughout the journey to success.

1. You'll Never Make It. People will say this simply because they don't think like entrepreneurs and are stuck in the employee mindset. They will rather have job security than financial freedom and don't 100% believe in hard work paying off due to their own personal failures. The truth is, failing is part of the process. If you fear failure, then fear will prevent you from seeing success. Some people will say this out of jealously, simply because they haven't figured out their own place in life yet. At some point, nearly every entrepreneur will encounter someone who will say, "that will never work", "you'll never make it doing that", or "I tried that before and it doesn't work." In most cases, those people just end up being quitters due to inconsistency and repetitive failures without making adjustments.
2. He Think's He's Special. This is something people will usually say behind your back. They will read your social media posts and engage in their heads instead of directly with you. This behavior is usually followed up with the assumption that you think you are special just because you show confidence in your work ethic. Sometimes, people will see your business posts as competition even when they haven't established a goal for themselves yet. Someone will speak on you to your peers and say "He thinks he's special" even when their heart wants them to say "I think he's special". At the end of the day, it all boils down to jealously and low self-esteem.
3. All He Cares About is Money. Well, can you survive without it? If you care about surviving then of course you care about money, but that's not the only thing entrepreneurs care about. Most entrepreneurs just care about what they do and enjoy doing it. When people say "All he cares about is money", it's an attempt to assassinate someone's character. Most entrepreneurs don't even expect money from consumers directly nor do they ever blatantly ask people for it. Instead, they focus on offering value to a person, which most people are willing to pay for if deemed relevant. So why would someone say, "All he cares about is money?" when they don't even understand the value you are trying to offer them as an entrepreneur, which could improve a person's life in some fashion.
4. He Got Lucky. When your success finally shows, people will say "He got lucky" in their heads or behind your back to someone else. Certain people just cant accept when a person has succeeded at doing something when they've only failed at creating their own success. These people would rather assume that you got lucky instead of put in the hard work and consistency required to succeed. Its just another thing people will say to compensate for their lack of effort. Winners are not afraid of losing, but losers are. Failure is a part of the process. People who avoid failure also avoid success.
5. I Always Knew You Were Going to Make It. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, sure you did". While this is something most successful entrepreneurs would probably want to say, they don't. Most are humble enough to still give pleasant responses to undeserving people and help others become successful by sharing knowledge and tips that have led them to success. At this point, people will want your time which they cannot afford anymore. You used to be cheap or free, always willing to share knowledge, but now you're time is priceless and people will need to watch your content and book you for 1-on-1 time. People will also like to make themselves seem special in the light of your success by telling people they know you or went to school with you, etc. The reality is, some of these people were getting a kick out of watching your failed attempts toward success, and shocked that things actually worked out for you at the end of the day.
